Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing MECM (formerly SCCM) environments across enterprise-scale infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in patch management, OS deployment, application packaging, software distribution, and endpoint management, along with strong troubleshooting and automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, administer, and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) infrastructure.
- Manage end-to-end patch management processes, ensuring high compliance and security standards across the organization.
- Perform operating system deployment (OSD), image creation, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Package, test, and deploy applications, software updates, and configurations across enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot client issues, application deployment failures, patching issues, and MECM infrastructure problems.
- Configure and manage distribution points, content replication, and BranchCache solutions for WAN optimization.
- Monitor MECM health, performance, and infrastructure components to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with security, network, server, and infrastructure teams for successful solution delivery and platform optimization.
- Support MECM infrastructure expansion into new domains, business units, and acquisition environments.
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and integrate MECM with enterprise tools and APIs where applicable.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, reports, and knowledge articles.




- Support Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Generate and maintain compliance, deployment, and operational reports using MECM and SSRS.

Required Qualifications

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering MECM/SCCM in large enterprise environments.
- Strong experience in designing, configuring, implementing, upgrading, and supporting MECM infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of MECM architecture, site systems, roles, boundaries, collections, client management, and content distribution.
- Proven experience in enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation programs.
- Hands-on experience with OS Deployment (OSD), task sequences, image management, and provisioning processes.
- Experience with application packaging, software deployment, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of BranchCache (Hosted Cache and Distributed Cache) and content optimization techniques.
- Experience troubleshooting replication issues, patch deployment failures, and client communication problems.
- Knowledge of MECM integration with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and enterprise networks.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational efficiency.
- Basic understanding of SQL queries and SSRS reporting.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management processes.
