Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable data platforms and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building data foundations, enabling data-driven decision-making across business functions, and driving the adoption of up-to-date data and AI technologies.

As a subject matter expert, you will architect end-to-end data solutions, mentor junior engineers, and transform business vision and data strategy into impactful technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data engineering solutions on Azure.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, data models, and data processing frameworks using Azure Databricks.
- Develop scalable AI applications and intelligent agents using Azure AI Foundry.
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Generative AI technologies.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for data and AI-driven innovation.
- Ensure data governance, security, reliability, and performance across solutions.




- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation plans.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices across teams.
- Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimizations.

Required Skills

Must Have:

- Strong experience in Azure Databricks.
- Expertise in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry for designing, developing, and deploying AI applications and AI agents.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Prompt Engineering.
- Experience building governed, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions.
- Strong data engineering fundamentals and experience developing end-to-end data solutions on Azure.

Good to Have

- Experience with Databricks Mosaic AI.
- Exposure to Databricks AI/ML capabilities and latest AI features.
- Experience with other AI frameworks, AI platforms, or GenAI technologies.
