Role Description The Import Export Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position manages end-to-end import and export operations, including documentation, shipment scheduling, and coordination with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers. The role involves ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, monitoring customs clearance processes, and maintaining accurate records for all cross-border transactions.

The specialist will track shipments, resolve logistical issues, optimize costs, and support inventory planning for commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.



Daily collaboration with internal teams and international partners is essential to meet delivery timelines and uphold service standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Customs Brokerage processes, including documentation, clearance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in Export operations, covering export documentation, Incoterms, and coordination with international carriers.
- Practical experience in Import activities, including import licensing, duty calculations, and coordination with customs authorities.
- Proficiency in Import Export management and International Trade practices, including trade regulations, trade agreements, and risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
- Experience working with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs agents, preferably in furniture, interiors, or related industries.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or logistics management software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.
