Odak is looking for an experienced Export & Import Executive to manage day-to-day import and export operations. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good knowledge of freight forwarding processes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, shipping lines, agents, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end Import & Export operations .
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Manage shipment bookings, documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Prepare and verify import/export documentation.
- Coordinate with customers and provide timely shipment updates.
- Follow up on shipping schedules,
cargo movement, and delivery status.
- Ensure compliance with applicable import/export procedures.
- Resolve operational issues and customer queries.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Candidate Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Export & Import / Freight Forwarding / Logistics Operations .
- Good understanding of import/export documentation and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- Comfortable working in Singapore shift hours .
- Candidates from freight forwarding/logistics companies will be preferred.
