- Audit checklists to assess the correctness of chapter headings, notifications, and compliance for import clearance.
- Prepare and manage import documentation, including checklist preparation, checklist submission, and customs declarations as required.
- Ensure all documentation complies with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and consignees to gather necessary information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Verify and validate documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in resolving documentation-related issues and discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations, notifications, and documentation requirements.
- Provide training and support to staff on documentation procedures and best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate
- G Card Holder.
- 5+ years of proven experience in import documentation.
- Robust knowledge of international trade regulations, the Customs Tariff Act 1975, Allied Acts, and documentation requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in documentation management software and tools.
