RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Responsible for rendering direct quality Nursing Care to the patient in her area.
2. Responsible to take over of departmental inventory, crash cart and inform higher authorities if needed [shortage, breakage of articles, drugs etc.]
3. Providing assistance to the medical and paramedical staff as and when required.
4. Manage the department in absence of Senior Nurse.
5. In absence of ward clerk to update white board near the nursing station in each shift.
6. To follow all the assessment form, protocols and documentation [Drug Calculation, Drug Labeling ect.].
7. To orient the patient as per the patient orientation checklist.
8. To follow five moments and seven steps of hand hygiene.
9. To follow HIC protocol for segregation of Bio-Medical Waste.
10. Handle patient’s grievances and coordinate with other department for smooth functioning of department and patient care.
11. To guide nursing school students/ trainee in the respective clinical / nursing areas.
12.



Handle untoward incidents in her department and inform higher authorities at the earliest and simultaneous report through clinical and non-clinical incidence.
13. Responsible to keep updated oneself about latest nursing knowledge and to attend in service education regularity.
14. Responsible for supervising subordinate and housekeeping staff.
15. To be update knowledge in Basic Life Support.
16. Responsible to maintain patient’s record.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Educational Qualification: BSc Nursing / Diploma in general Nursing & Midwifery [Maharashtra Nursing Council] Registration is mandatory in all cases.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
