We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ice Plant Operator cum Maintenance Technician with at least 3 years of hands-on industrial experience. The selected candidate will oversee daily plant operations, maintain refrigeration machinery, manage industrial electrical systems, and perform essential welding and mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

​Plant Operation: Start, monitor, and regulate ice plant equipment, including high-capacity compressors, heavy-duty induction motors, ammonia/brine circulation systems, and condensers.

​Electrical Maintenance: Troubleshoot and service 3-phase industrial power systems, control panels, starters, relays, and motor wiring. ​Mechanical & Welding Work: Carry out fabrication, routine metal repairs, and structural maintenance using arc or gas welding.

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, oil changes, belt adjustments, pressure checks, and leak detections.

Daily Logging: Record operational parameters, plant temperatures,



pressure levels, and daily production volumes.

​Candidate Requirements ​Experience: 3+ years of direct operational experience in an Ice Plant, Cold Storage, or Industrial Refrigeration facility.

Technical Proficiency: ​Solid practical knowledge of industrial compressors (Ammonia/Freon) and motor maintenance. ​Hands-on expertise in industrial electrical troubleshooting and panel operations. ​Proficient in basic welding and metal fabrication. ​

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (MRAC), Electrical, or Mechanical preferred (relevant hands-on experience is given primary priority).

Work Schedule: Ability to manage operational shifts and address emergency plant breakdowns.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
