About the role The Hybrid Infrastructure Architect & Governance Lead provides strategic leadership, governance, architecture, and Level 3 / Level 4 technical support across the organization's hybrid infrastructure landscape, including Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), VMware, and on-premises datacenter environments.
The role ensures that cloud and on-premises infrastructure are secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective while driving governance, architecture, cloud financial management (FinOps), security, and infrastructure modernization initiatives. The position works closely with Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Application teams, and managed service providers to define technology standards, oversee solution architecture, optimize operational performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Your Responsibilities :
- Define and maintain enterprise infrastructure governance, architecture standards, policies, and best practices across Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), VMware, and on-premises environments.
- Design and approve secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions for recent and existing workloads.
- Establish and govern Azure Landing Zones, management groups, subscriptions, Azure Policy, RBAC, and enterprise cloud operating standards.
- Develop OCI governance frameworks and review architecture designs across networking, compute, storage, IAM, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Own the architecture and technical governance of VMware, VxRail, Hyper-V, and core datacenter platforms.
- Define standards for virtualization, compute, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Lead datacenter modernization, hardware refresh, capacity planning, performance management, and infrastructure lifecycle roadmaps.
- Provide Level 3/Level 4 technical escalation support for complex cloud, OCI, and datacenter infrastructure incidents.
- Coordinate with Microsoft, Oracle, VMware, managed service providers, and other vendors during critical technical incidents and service issues.
- Lead cloud FinOps initiatives across Azure and OCI, including cost visibility, forecasting, budgeting, rightsizing, tagging, reserved capacity, and showback/chargeback models.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor cloud consumption, financial performance, capacity, and optimization opportunities.
- Define and govern enterprise cloud security architecture aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Oversee security services including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, and OCI security capabilities.
- Govern identity and access management, privileged access, MFA, conditional access, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security posture.
- Partner with Security Operations, Finance, application teams, and business stakeholders to improve security, operational resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Lead Architecture Review Board discussions and maintain enterprise reference architectures and technical documentation.
- Review managed service provider deliverables to ensure compliance with architecture, security, operational, and documentation standards.
- Drive automation, infrastructure-as-code, operational standardization, and continuous improvement across cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Ensure all infrastructure services meet enterprise security, compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and audit requirements.

- 18+ years of Infrastructure and Cloud experience.
- 10+ years designing enterprise Azure environments.
- 10+ years working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Solid VMware and enterprise datacenter architecture experience.
- Experience designing hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strong background in cloud governance, infrastructure governance, and security.
- Experience leading managed service providers and global infrastructure operations.
