Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Valsad. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
The Human Resources
Manager will develop and implement HR policies, support compliance with labor laws and company guidelines, and manage payroll and benefits in coordination with relevant teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include addressing employee queries, facilitating training and development initiatives, conducting disciplinary and grievance procedures, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and HRIS records. The role also involves collaborating with leadership to support workforce planning,
organizational development, and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience with HR operations such as payroll coordination, benefits administration, HRIS management, and policy implementation.
- Familiarity with employment laws, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Skill in conflict resolution, counseling, and handling disciplinary and grievance processes with fairness and confidentiality.
- Ability to design and support training, learning and development programs, and talent management initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools; comfort with data analysis and HR reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Valsad and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
