HR Executive

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of the company's human resources and people operations activities and help build a strong, productive, and people-focused organization.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is proactive, organized, people-oriented, responsible, approachable, and passionate about building effective teams in a growing technology business.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team and take ownership of recruitment, talent acquisition, employee onboarding, HR operations, employee engagement, performance management, HR documentation, and people-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Own and manage day-to-day recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
Understand hiring requirements from different teams and departments.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, social media, and other relevant channels.
Screen and shortlist candidates based on role requirements.
Conduct initial HR screening and candidate assessments.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
Ensure timely follow-ups with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Support offer discussions, negotiations, and candidate closures.
Build and maintain a strong talent pool for current and future requirements.
Employee Onboarding & Documentation
Manage the complete employee onboarding process.
Coordinate joining formalities and required documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Prepare and maintain employment-related documentation.
Coordinate induction and orientation programs.
Ensure employees have a smooth onboarding experience.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
HR Operations
Manage day-to-day HR and people operations.
Maintain employee attendance, leave, and HR trackers.
Coordinate employee records and internal HR documentation.
Support payroll-related coordination and information collection.
Assist with company policies, processes, and HR procedures.
Ensure HR processes are followed consistently across teams.
Handle employee queries related to HR policies and processes.
Maintain accurate and organized HR documentation.
Employee Engagement & People Management
Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives.
Build positive relationships with employees across departments.
Understand employee concerns and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
Organize employee activities, meetings, and engagement initiatives.
Support a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Encourage effective communication between employees and management.
Assist in employee retention and workplace satisfaction initiatives.
Performance Management
Support employee performance review and appraisal processes.
Coordinate performance evaluation timelines with managers.
Maintain performance-related documentation and records.
Track employee goals, reviews, and development activities.
Work with managers to identify performance gaps and improvement areas.
Support employee development and growth initiatives.
HR Reporting & Analytics
Maintain accurate HR dashboards, trackers, and reports.
Track recruitment metrics such as open positions, applications, interviews, and closures.
Monitor hiring timelines and recruitment performance.
Prepare regular HR reports and updates for management.
Track employee-related metrics including attrition, attendance, hiring, and retention.
Identify HR trends and provide insights to leadership.
Policy & Process Development
Assist in developing and improving HR policies and processes.
Help establish structured recruitment and onboarding processes.
Identify gaps in existing HR operations and recommend improvements.
Maintain employee handbooks, policies, and internal HR documentation.
Ensure HR processes align with organizational requirements.
Support implementation of new HR initiatives and systems.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with leadership, Operations, Finance, Sales, Product, and Technology teams.
Understand workforce requirements and support timely hiring.
Coordinate with managers regarding recruitment and employee-related matters.
Support internal communication and organizational initiatives.
Assist leadership with strategic people and workforce planning projects.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition, people operations, or a related role.
Proven experience in recruitment and candidate management.
Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Valuable understanding of recruitment platforms and sourcing techniques.
Experience with HRMS, ATS, CRM, or HR tracking systems.
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Ability to communicate confidently with candidates, employees, managers, and senior stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial technology environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a technology, SaaS, startup, or fast-growing organization.
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment.
Experience hiring for technical and non-technical positions.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and other sourcing platforms.
Experience with HRMS / ATS platforms.
Experience developing recruitment strategies and talent pipelines.
Experience handling employee engagement initiatives.
Experience supporting performance management processes.
Strong understanding of HR best practices and workplace policies.
Experience working directly with founders, leadership, and hiring managers.
