Diplomats Group is Hiring: HR Manager | Head Office

Real Estate Development & In-House Construction

? Location: Gurugram, Golf Course Extension

? Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced HR skilled to manage HR operations across our head office and project sites.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for head office and project sites, including sales, marketing, CRM, finance, legal, procurement, engineering, construction and project management teams.
- Recruit civil engineers, project managers, site supervisors, quantity surveyors, safety personnel, storekeepers and other technical and support staff.
- Coordinate with department heads and project teams to plan manpower requirements according to project timelines.
- Manage recruitment agencies, hiring budgets, interviews, offer letters and joining formalities.

2. Employee Onboarding & HR Administration

- Conduct induction covering company policies, reporting structures, job responsibilities and workplace expectations.
- Maintain employee records, appointment letters, employment documentation and HR systems.
- Manage probation reviews, confirmations, transfers, promotions, exits and full-and-final settlement coordination.
- Ensure consistent HR processes across head office and project locations.

3. Attendance, Payroll & Benefits

- Manage attendance, leave, shifts, overtime records and payroll inputs for office and site employees.
- Coordinate salary processing, reimbursements, benefits and payroll queries with the finance team.
- Monitor attendance and wage records for directly employed construction workers.




- Verify contractor manpower and attendance records in coordination with site teams, wherever applicable.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

- Develop and implement HR policies, employee handbooks, codes of conduct and disciplinary procedures.
- Coordinate applicable employment and labour compliance for office employees, directly employed workers and contract labour with legal, finance and compliance teams.
- Maintain required HR registers, records and documentation, and support audits and inspections.
- Track contractor submissions relating to worker documentation, wages, statutory contributions and insurance, as applicable.
- Support workplace harassment prevention, grievance redressal and fair employment practices.

5. Performance Management & Employee Development

- Establish job descriptions, KRAs and KPIs in consultation with department heads.
- Manage performance reviews, appraisals, increments and development plans.
- Identify training needs for office and site teams, including technical, supervisory and leadership skills.
- Support succession planning, internal growth and retention of key employees.

6. Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

- Serve as the HR point of contact for employees across head office and construction sites.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution fairly and confidentially.
- Drive employee engagement,



recognition and retention initiatives.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend improvements based on employee feedback.

7. Safety Coordination & Worker Welfare

- Coordinate with project and safety teams to ensure employees and workers complete required safety inductions and training.
- Support awareness of site rules, emergency procedures and incident-reporting processes.
- Coordinate HR documentation and employee support relating to workplace incidents, insurance and return-to-work arrangements.

8. HR Reporting & Management Support

- Prepare reports on headcount, hiring, attrition, attendance, overtime and manpower costs.
- Track HR budgets and recommend improvements in workforce planning and HR processes.
- Provide management with timely insights into staffing risks and employee concerns across projects.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 4 years experience in HR within real estate development, infrastructure or a similar project-based business.
- Experience managing both head office employees and construction-site workforce requirements.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, contractor coordination and applicable labour compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisational and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software, attendance systems and MS Excel.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or a relevant qualification preferred.
