URGENT REQUIREMENT HSSE ENGINEER

SBM Offshore is looking for an experienced HSSE Engineer with robust Oil & Gas and Offshore Hook-Up & Commissioning experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain Health, Safety & Environment (HSE/HSSE) Management Systems.
- Conduct internal and external safety audits and subcontractor HSE audits.
- Lead/support accident and incident investigations and analyze safety statistics and trends.
- Provide technical HSE/HSSE support and advice to Senior Management.
- Conduct in-house HSE training and awareness programs.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors on safety-related matters.
- Provide HSE input for new projects, modifications, construction and commissioning activities.
- Participate in HAZOP and HAZID meetings.
- Conduct and review Risk Assessments / HEMP.
- Prepare Health & Safety documentation for tenders and project start-up activities.
- Support preparation of HSE plans, procedures and emergency response arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation,



company directives and HSE standards.

Education & Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering or equivalent.
- Additional professional qualification in HSSE / HSE / Fire & Safety Management preferred.

Mandatory Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in HSSE / HSE / Fire & Safety within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years of Offshore Hook-Up & Commissioning experience.
- Strong experience in Construction Site HSE Leadership.
