Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring experienced Snowflake Data Engineers for our Chennai location.

Required Skills
Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least 3 of the following core skills :
✅ Snowflake Data Warehouse
✅ Azure Data Factory (ADF)
✅ Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
✅ SQL
✅ ETL / ELT Development

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologies.
- Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from ADLS Gen2 to Snowflake.
- Implement data loading solutions using Snowpipe, COPY INTO, Storage Integrations, and External/Internal Stages.
- Develop incremental data processing solutions using Streams, Tasks, and MERGE operations.
- Create and maintain scalable data models, views, stored procedures, and SQL scripts.
- Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, query execution, and storage utilization.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders, BI teams, and data architects to deliver analytics solutions.
- Implement security and governance practices including RBAC, Time Travel, and Zero-Copy Cloning.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Follow best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, data quality, and documentation.

Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse .
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) .
- Solid proficiency in SQL and Data Warehousing Concepts .
- Experience in ETL/ELT Development and cloud-based data migration.
- Working knowledge of Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, MERGE Operations .
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services .
- Strong understanding of Performance Tuning & Optimization .
- Familiarity with Git / Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
