Role Description The HR Manager (Bank) will oversee end-to-end human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with HR and banking regulations. This full-time role is on-site at the Pune City location and involves partnering with senior leadership to plan workforce requirements, implement HR policies, and support organizational change and development.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing HR operations, maintaining employee records, handling payroll-related coordination, and ensuring adherence to statutory requirements. The HR Manager will drive training and development initiatives, support employee engagement activities, and help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
The role also requires handling grievance redressal, conducting HR audits, and preparing regular HR reports and dashboards for management.
Qualifications
- Strong HR operations and administration skills, including experience in recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining HR documentation and records.
- Proficiency in performance management, employee engagement, and talent development, with the ability to implement structured appraisal and feedback processes.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and statutory requirements relevant to banking or financial services, including payroll coordination and perks administration.
- Experience in policy formulation, HR process improvement, and change management within a structured, regulated environment such as banking or financial services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities, with strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist in a bank, credit society, or financial institution is highly desirable.
