Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and people-oriented HR Manager to manage and strengthen the organization’s HR functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR policies, payroll coordination, compliance, and overall employee lifecycle management.
The candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a practical understanding of HR processes, and the ability to work closely with senior management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from job requirement to onboarding.
- Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with department heads.
- Source, screen and interview candidates for various positions.
- Manage recruitment consultants, job portals and other hiring channels.
- Ensure timely closure of critical positions.
- Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for future requirements.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage joining formalities, documentation, onboarding and induction.
- Ensure smooth employee transfers, promotions, confirmations and exits.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse employee feedback.
3. Performance Management
- Coordinate the performance appraisal and review process.
- Work with department heads to establish KRAs/KPIs.
- Track employee performance and support managers in addressing performance-related concerns.
- Identify high performers and potential talent for career development.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- Build a positive,
professional and collaborative workplace culture.
- Address employee grievances and workplace concerns effectively.
- Organize employee events, celebrations, recognition programs and team-building activities.
- Act as a bridge between employees and management.
5. HR Policies & Processes
- Develop, implement and regularly update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR processes are consistent across departments.
- Establish and improve HR systems, SOPs and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
6. Payroll & Attendance Coordination
- Coordinate with the payroll/accounts team for monthly payroll processing.
- Monitor attendance, leaves, late coming, overtime and other employee records.
- Ensure salary-related employee queries are resolved on time.
- Coordinate full & final settlements and exit-related documentation.
7. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external consultants, payroll teams and auditors wherever required.
- Maintain required HR and statutory records and documentation.
8. Learning & Development
- Identify training and development requirements across teams.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Support employee development and career progression initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
9. HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for management.
- Track key HR metrics such as:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Recruitment status
- Attendance
- Leave
- Employee cost
- Performance
- Hiring turnaround time
- Maintain accurate HR databases and records.
10. Management Support
- Work closely with senior management on organizational and people-related matters.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations for manpower planning and organizational development.
- Support management in building a strong and accountable organizational culture.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Good understanding of recruitment and employee relations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with maturity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple HR functions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRMS/payroll systems will be an advantage.
- Strong coordination skills with employees, management and external stakeholders.
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Graduate in any discipline with relevant HR experience may also be considered.
Experience 5–7 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably with experience in a mid-sized or growing organization.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
