CARE – Chettinad Hospitals, Kelambakkam is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to supervise housekeeping operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control across the hospital. Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a healthcare/hospital workplace, are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise housekeeping staff and manage day-to-day cleaning operations.
- Allocate duties, monitor attendance and evaluate staff performance.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across wards, patient rooms, OT areas, corridors and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with hospital infection-control, sanitation and safety standards.
- Monitor the proper use and availability of cleaning materials, chemicals, equipment and PPE.
- Conduct regular inspections and take corrective action when required.
- Handle housekeeping-related complaints and coordinate with other hospital departments.




- Maintain housekeeping checklists, records and daily reports.

Skills & Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision.
- Healthcare/Hospital housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Any Graduate/Diploma preferred.
- Strong team supervision and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of hospital hygiene, sanitation and infection-control practices.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
