Job Summary

22 Yards Playoff Pvt Ltd is looking for a responsible and proactive Housekeeping & Facility In-Charge to manage the cleanliness, hygiene, upkeep, and day-to-day facility requirements of our cricket and sports facility.

The person will be responsible for supervising housekeeping/support staff, maintaining the cleanliness of player and common areas, monitoring facility requirements, coordinating with electricians, plumbers and other service providers, managing housekeeping inventory, and ensuring that the entire facility is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

1. Housekeeping Operations

- Manage and supervise all housekeeping staff on a daily basis.
- Allocate daily duties and prepare housekeeping duty schedules.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of:
- Player areas
- Dressing/changing rooms
- Washrooms
- Dugouts
- Office areas
- Common areas
- Other facility premises
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure all grounds are maintained properly.
- Ensure washrooms are cleaned, sanitized and supplied with required consumables.
- Monitor marker and Housekeeping attendance, punctuality, grooming and performance.
- Ensure that marker facility area also maintained cleanly.

2. Cricket Facility Upkeep

- Ensure the overall cleanliness and presentation of the cricket facility.
- Coordinate with the ground/operations team to maintain player and support areas.
- Ensure pathways, entrances, seating/common areas and surrounding facility areas are clean and organized.
- Immediately report any damage, safety issue or facility-related problem.
- Ensure the facility is ready before matches, training sessions, events and other activities.

Facility Maintenance Coordination

- Monitor daily facility maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, carpenters, technicians and other maintenance personnel.
- Follow up on electrical, plumbing, water supply, drainage, lighting and general maintenance issues.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance work and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a record of pending and completed maintenance work.
- Escalate major breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements to management.

4. Staff Management

- Supervise housekeeping and support staff.
- Prepare daily/weekly duty rosters.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor task completion.
- Train staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor staff discipline and work quality.
- Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, leave, absenteeism and staff-related issues.

5. Housekeeping Inventory Management

- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and consumables.
- Monitor usage of:
- Cleaning chemicals
- Disinfectants
- Toilet supplies
- Garbage bags
- Mops and cleaning equipment
- Tissue/paper products
- Other housekeeping materials
- Maintain proper inventory records.
- Raise purchase requirements before stock runs out.
- Check quantity and quality of materials received.

6. Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with housekeeping, pest-control, waste-management and maintenance vendors.
- Schedule vendor visits and monitor their work.




- Obtain quotations when required.
- Compare quotations and submit recommendations to management.
- Ensure vendors complete work within the agreed timeline and quality standards.

7. Hygiene & Safety

- Maintain high standards of hygiene across the facility.
- Ensure proper garbage collection and disposal.
- Monitor pest-control requirements.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are safely stored and used.
- Identify and report safety hazards immediately.
- Ensure emergency exits and walkways remain transparent.
- Maintain cleanliness standards before and after matches/events.

8. Daily Inspection & Reporting

- Conduct daily facility inspections.
- Maintain housekeeping and facility checklists.
- Record maintenance issues and follow up until closure.
- Submit daily/weekly updates to the reporting manager.
- Maintain records of staff attendance, inventory, maintenance and vendor activities.

Required Qualifications

- 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate.
- 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping, facility management, hospitality, sports facilities, clubs, hotels, commercial facilities or similar operations.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Tamil communication is preferred. English is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience working in a sports facility, cricket ground, club, hotel, resort or large commercial facility will be an advantage.
- Should be comfortable supervising multiple support staff.
- Should be hands-on and willing to inspect the facility personally.
- Should be able to coordinate with multiple vendors and maintenance teams.
- Should have strong ownership of cleanliness, hygiene and facility standards.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
