Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Host role based in Mumbai. The Host is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing waitlists and reservations, and guiding guests to their tables in a welcoming and efficient manner. Daily tasks include answering phone inquiries, coordinating with the serving and kitchen teams to optimize seating flow,



and maintaining an organized and clean reception area.

The role also involves providing information about menu offerings and restaurant concepts, handling guest concerns or special requests professionally, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from arrival to departure. The Host will work closely with management and team members to uphold Eatopia’s standards of guest service and hospitality.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for handling guest inquiries, reservations, and coordination with team members.
- Experience managing Reservations or host stand operations in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Ability to work adaptable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and remain calm in high-traffic situations.
- Attention to detail, basic computer or POS literacy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality is an advantage; formal training in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
