Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and supporting safe and effective medication management in compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions, dosage, quantity, and medication details before dispensing.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines as per required conditions.
- Monitor expiry dates, stock levels, and maintain proper inventory records.
- Maintain records of medicines, including controlled and high-alert medications.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, infection control practices, and NABH standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses,



and other clinical departments regarding medication requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medicine issues, returns, and stock movement.
- Monitor and report shortages, damaged medicines, and near-expiry/expired stock.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of the pharmacy area.
- Provide appropriate guidance to patients/attendants regarding medication usage when required.

Qualifications

- B. Pharm / D. Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
