Key Responsibilities

- Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.

- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments and other accounting adjustments.

- Perform General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.

- Support bank, intercompany and vendor/customer reconciliations.

- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet schedules.

- Prepare basic variance analysis and investigate fluctuations in accounts.

- Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements.

- Assist with intercompany accounting and confirmations.

- Ensure accounting entries comply with applicable accounting policies and Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP, as applicable.

- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.

- Assist in maintaining and strengthening internal financial controls.





- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.

- Maintain process documentation/SOPs and support process improvement and automation initiatives.

- Perform other ad-hoc finance and controllership activities as required.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

- Knowledge of General Ledger and month-end close processes.

- Strong understanding of reconciliations and journal entries.

- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.

- Exposure to SAP/Oracle/Workday or other ERP systems is preferred.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
