Position: CDI Specialist IPDRG

Location: Hyderabad

Qualification: MBBS, MD, BSC Nursing , MSC nursing

Clinical Experience: 3+ Years

IPDRG Experience: 2+ Years

CTC: Up to 20 LPA

Certification: Certified & Non-Certified candidates are eligible

Job Responsibilities

- Review inpatient medical records and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify documentation gaps and potential opportunities for improved clinical specificity.
- Apply strong knowledge of IPDRG, inpatient coding, and DRG concepts.
- Work closely with physicians and clinical teams to clarify and improve documentation.
- Ensure documentation accurately reflects the patient's clinical condition, severity, and complexity.
- Support accurate DRG assignment and appropriate reimbursement through compliant documentation practices.
- Review diagnoses, procedures, clinical indicators, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain compliance with applicable coding, CDI,



and documentation guidelines.
- Collaborate with coding and clinical teams to resolve documentation-related queries.

Key Requirements

MBBS qualification is mandatory

3+ years of relevant clinical experience

2+ years of IPDRG experience

Strong knowledge of clinical documentation and medical terminology

Good understanding of inpatient coding and DRG concepts

Solid analytical and clinical documentation review skills

Ability to identify documentation gaps and formulate appropriate queries

Certification is not mandatory Certified & Non-Certified candidates are eligible

Eligibility

- MBBS , MD BSC Nursing , MSC nursing
- Relevant clinical experience and IPDRG experience are mandatory
- Candidates with strong CDI and IPDRG knowledge are preferred
