We are looking for an experienced Color Stone Grader to evaluate and grade colored gemstones based on quality, authenticity and established grading standards.

Requirements

? Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate color, hue, tone, saturation, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry and transparency
- Identify gemstones such as Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Topaz, Tourmaline, Garnet, Tanzanite and Aquamarine
- Detect inclusions, fractures, treatments and quality characteristics
- Identify signs of heat treatment, filling, dyeing, irradiation and diffusion
- Examine gemstones using appropriate lighting and magnification
- Sort and categorize stones based on quality, size,



color and commercial value
- Maintain accurate grading records and documentation
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Purchase and Sales teams
- Ensure consistent grading as per company standards
- Handle gemstones carefully and follow security procedures

? Required Skills:
- Robust knowledge of colored gemstones and their characteristics
- Experience in gemstone grading/sorting
- Excellent color differentiation and visual observation skills
- Knowledge of treatments, imitations and synthetics
- Familiarity with loupe, microscope, refractometer, polariscope and dichroscope is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
