Position: Heavy Vehicle Driver

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate and drive heavy vehicles used for company operations.

Must have good knowledge of heavy vehicle operation, road safety, and traffic regulations.

Responsible for transporting generators, machinery, spare parts, tools, and other materials safely to and from customer locations and service sites.

Must ensure that all materials and equipment are properly loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded without damage.

Should be capable of driving the vehicle safely in city traffic, highways, industrial areas, and difficult road conditions.

Must inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any mechanical or operational issues immediately.

Responsible for basic vehicle checks such as engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, battery, lights, and other essential components.

Must maintain the vehicle in clean and good working condition.

Should follow the assigned route and delivery schedule and reach the destination on time.

Must assist the service team in loading and unloading generators, tools, and equipment whenever required.

Responsible for maintaining proper documents related to the vehicle, trips, fuel, and deliveries.

Must follow all company safety procedures and maintain safe driving practices at all times.

Should handle company vehicles responsibly and ensure that the vehicle is not misused.

Must immediately report accidents, breakdowns, traffic violations,



or other vehicle-related problems to management.

Should be willing to travel to customer locations and service sites as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence (HMV/Heavy Vehicle Licence) is mandatory.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving is preferred.

Experience driving heavy vehicles carrying generators, machinery, equipment, or industrial materials will be an added advantage.

Must have a good understanding of road safety rules and traffic regulations.

Must have good knowledge of vehicle controls and basic mechanical maintenance.

Should have a secure driving record and responsible driving habits.

Must be physically fit and capable of assisting with loading and unloading activities when required.

Good communication skills and a responsible attitude are required.

Must be punctual, disciplined, honest, and reliable.

Willingness to travel and work at customer/service locations is essential.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Heavy Vehicle Driver who can safely transport generators, machinery, and other equipment to customer locations and service sites. The candidate must have good driving skills, basic mechanical knowledge, a valid heavy vehicle driving licence, and the ability to handle the vehicle responsibly under different road and working conditions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
