Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Head to lead end-to-end procurement for large-scale infrastructure, construction and high-end residential/interior projects. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, risk management and procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

- Develop and execute procurement strategies for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects.
- Manage sourcing of structural steel, cement, RMC, glass façades, MEP/HVAC systems and other major project requirements.
- Lead vendor evaluation, negotiations and development of long-term supplier partnerships.
- Build and maintain a robust supplier network to ensure quality, cost competitiveness and timely availability of materials.
- Identify and mitigate supplier and supply-chain risks.

Luxury & Specialized Procurement
- Manage sourcing of premium materials including imported marble, automation systems, architectural fixtures, customized interiors and other high-end finishes.
- Coordinate with design consultants, architects, global suppliers and specialized vendors.
- Manage quality inspections and pre-dispatch checks for critical/customized materials.

Cost Optimization & Commercial Management
- Drive value engineering, cost optimization and spend management initiatives.




- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, SLAs and contractual conditions.
- Manage international logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance and import-related costs.
- Work closely with Finance, Projects and other stakeholders on demand forecasting, budgeting and cost control.

Contracts, Governance & Compliance
- Structure, review and govern procurement and vendor agreements.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, statutory requirements and import/export regulations.
- Drive procurement governance, audits and vendor-performance management.
- Implement procurement software, e-tendering and digital procurement processes.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor procurement and commercial teams.
- Build functional capability and drive a high-performance culture.
- Manage project milestones, escalations and cross-functional coordination.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Engineering .
- MBA in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management or Operations preferred.
- 12–15 years of procurement experience .
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CAPEX/infrastructure procurement , including areas such as HVAC, gensets and interior rollouts.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP MM, SAP Ariba, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365 .
- Strong experience in contract negotiations, claims management, project budgeting and cost control.
- Exposure to digital procurement, e-tendering and procurement analytics tools.
