Experience: 18+ years managing plant stores, material flow, and warehousing in Tractor, Commercial Vehicle, or Heavy Engineering manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tractor Line-Feeding & Layout Setup: Design plant store layouts, tractor assembly supermarkets, and material flow routes using Lean techniques like E-Kanban, JIT/JIS, VSM, and Kitting.
2. Inventory Control: Maintain inventory through daily cycle counting and stock reconciliation. Eliminate overstocking, minimize carrying costs, and optimize working capital across raw materials, castings, engine components, and spare parts.
3. Inbound Logistics & Shortage Prevention: Monitor inbound supplier dispatches, coordinate with planners and local vendor networks, and track critical material shortages to prevent tractor assembly line loss.

Scrap & Obsolete Material Clearance: Systematically identify non-moving, obsolete, and damaged materials. Manage formal defacing, scrap categorization, and legally compliant factory removal.
5. Digitalization & Audits (SAP/WMS): Drive SAP MM / WMS usage, barcode/RFID tracking, and maintain zero-defect compliance in integrated financial, ISO 9001, OHSAS/EHS, and safety audits.
6. Team Leadership & Safety: Direct warehouse managers, store supervisors, forklift operators, and contract labor teams while enforcing 5S and safety rules for a zero-incident workplace. Role & responsibilities
