About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Head to lead the Human Resources function for Nageen Group. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building and managing HR systems for a manufacturing and production-driven environment — covering shop-floor workforce, plant staff, and corporate office employees. The ideal candidate understands both the people side of HR and the practical realities of running HR in a factory/production setup, including compliance, shift-based workforce planning, and safetylinked HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR operations — recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, attendance, performance management, and exit formalities for both plant and corporate staff.
- Design and implement HR policies suited to a printing & packaging manufacturing setup, including shift management, contract labour, and shop-floor discipline.
- Manage statutory and labour law compliance — PF, ESI, Factory Act, minimum wages, and other applicable regulations for a manufacturing unit.
- Drive recruitment for both skilled/semi-skilled production staff (machine operators, pressmen, quality checkers) and corporate roles (sales, accounts, admin).
- Partner with plant heads and department managers to plan manpower requirements in line with production and order volumes.
- Build and monitor employee engagement, welfare, and grievance-redressal programs to reduce attrition on the shop floor.
- Oversee training and skill-development programs for machine operators and production staff, and induction programs for current joiners.
- Manage compensation and benefits structuring, salary benchmarking, and annual appraisal cycles.
- Act as a bridge between management and employees, maintaining a fair, transparent, and disciplined work culture.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- MBA / PG Diploma in Human Resource Management, or equivalent qualification.
- 8–12 years of overall HR experience, with at least 3–4 years in a manufacturing, printing, packaging, or similar production-based industry.
- Strong working knowledge of labour laws, factory compliance, and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Factories Act, etc.).
- Prior experience managing both blue-collar (plant/shop-floor) and white-collar (corporate office) workforce is highly preferred.
- Good command over HR software/HRMS tools, payroll systems, and MS Excel/Office.
- Strong communication and people-management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
- Comfortable working from the plant location in Meerut and spending time on the shop floor when required.
What We Offer
- An opportunity to lead and shape the HR function of a fast-growing company within the established Nageen Group.
- A collaborative leadership environment with direct access to company management.
- Competitive compensation in line with industry standards, based on experience.
- A stable, long-term role in a company with a strong growth trajectory and an expanding client base. How to Apply
