Position Details

Position: Head of Department Pre-Primary

Vacancies: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai

Reporting To: Moumita

Role Overview The HOD Pre-Primary will lead the Pre-Primary department and ensure effective teaching and learning across the branch. The role involves managing departmental activities, mentoring Mathematics teachers, and conducting regular academic and classroom-based training. The HOD will conduct at least two classes daily while monitoring lesson delivery, student progress, and teaching quality.

The role also includes reviewing notebooks, supporting teachers, maintaining academic standards,



and driving continuous improvement within the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Take a minimum of 2 classes every day.
- Conduct 2 hours of training every day for Pre-Primary teachers and support staff/maids.
- Train teachers on classroom management and effective classroom delivery.
- Ensure newly joined teachers are properly set up and taking classes effectively.
- Correct/track 100 notebooks every day and identify teachers who are lagging in corrections.
- Maintain correction reports and ensure pending corrections are completed.
- Step in and take classes whenever a teacher is unexpectedly absent.
- Monitor overall academic performance and classroom implementation. Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the last school is preferred.
- At least 1 year of previous HOD experience is preferred.
- Should score 85+ in both teacher tests.
- A personal vehicle is preferred for branch travel.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and teacher-training skills. Working Model
- One branch visit per day.
- Each HOD will have a designated base branch.
- Direct reporting to Moumita with regular reports.
