About The Client

Essential Job Functions:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of hardware components including processors, memory, storage, and network interfaces.
- Mentor and guide hardware engineering teams while providing technical leadership and support.
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and scalable hardware solutions.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, mechanical and thermal teams to ensure optimized system design.
- Design and develop high-watt (~1kW) power supplies utilizing SiC semiconductor technologies.
- Perform schematic design, PCB layout reviews, design validation, and hardware verification activities.
- Define PCB stack-ups and ensure controlled impedance routing for complex high-speed designs.
- Drive projects from requirements gathering through prototyping, validation, production release, and maintenance.
- Perform board bring-up, circuit validation, debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Conduct functional testing and performance optimization of power electronic systems.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, design specifications, and technical reports.
- Review designs and ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of relevant experience in Hardware Design and Power Electronics.




- Experience in High-Watt Power (~1kW) Supply Design involving SiC Semiconductors.
- Strong understanding of electronics, signal integrity, power management, and server architecture.
- Hands-on experience designing high-power MOSFET-based power supplies.
- Knowledge of ETS88 Tester system usage for testing high-watt SiC Power MOSFET DUT applications.
- Proficiency in schematic preparation, PCB layout review, and design validation.
- Strong experience with design tools such as Altium, KiCAD, and OrCAD.
- Strong knowledge of PCB stack-up definitions and controlled impedance routing guidelines.
- Experience working on complete product development lifecycles from concept to production.
- Hands-on experience in board bring-up and validation of high-speed interfaces.
- Experience in circuit validation, board debugging, functional testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), power supplies, power analyzers, function generators, and electronic loads.
- Knowledge of FPGA programming using JTAG is an added advantage.
- Experience developing detailed schematics and performing schematic capture using CAD tools.
- Expertise in PCB design processes and technical documentation.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE),



Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Power Systems.
- OR Master’s Degree in EEE, ECE, or Power Systems with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- OR PhD in a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
