This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Handwritten Text Live Photo Collection participant based in India.

This is a remote, flexible data collection opportunity designed for individuals who want to contribute to the development of AI technologies.

Participants will use an eligible Apple device to capture Live Photos of authentic, naturally occurring handwritten text.

The project covers a wide range of everyday materials, including notes, letters, recipes, lists, forms, and greeting cards.

Your contributions will help create diverse, high-quality datasets that can support the development and improvement of AI systems.

The project is suitable for entry-level participants and does not require prior professional data-collection experience.

You will have the flexibility to collect eligible content from a variety of real-world environments while following clear privacy and quality guidelines.

Approved submissions are compensated on a per-photo basis, making this an accessible opportunity to earn while contributing to AI development.

Accountabilities:

- Capture Live Photos of authentic handwritten text using the rear camera of an eligible iPhone or iPad.
- Collect naturally occurring handwritten materials such as notes, memos, shopping lists, letters, diaries, greeting cards, recipes, tables, forms, flyers, and similar documents.
- Ensure that submitted content is genuine and naturally occurring; AI-generated, synthetic, or content created specifically for the project is not permitted.
- Collect handwritten content primarily in one of the eligible languages: Bangla, Gujarati, Odia, Punjabi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, or Urdu.
- Submit a diverse range of handwriting styles, writing instruments, ink colors, paper types, layouts, textures, lighting conditions, backgrounds, and camera angles.

- Capture images at a minimum resolution of 7.9 MP while using the required Live Photo functionality.




- Remove or conceal personal information before submission, including names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and faces.
- Follow project limits, including the allowance for up to 5 personally written items, with a maximum of 20 submissions in these categories.

- Collect eligible handwritten materials from a variety of real-world environments, including stores, restaurants, workplaces, and public locations.
- Review submissions carefully to ensure they meet the project's quality, language, privacy, authenticity, and technical requirements before submission.

Requirements

- Be 18 years of age or older and currently located in India.
- Be able to read and understand at least one of the following languages: Bangla, Gujarati, Odia, Punjabi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, or Urdu.
- Own an eligible Apple device running iOS/iPadOS 16 or later with the ability to capture Live Photos using the rear camera.
- Submit photos with a minimum resolution of 7.9 MP.
- Be able to access and collect authentic handwritten text from different everyday environments.

- Have good attention to detail and the ability to follow specific image-capture, privacy, and submission guidelines.
- Be comfortable identifying and removing or concealing personally identifiable information before submitting content.
- Be reliable and able to consistently provide high-quality submissions that meet the project's requirements.

- No previous professional experience is required; this is an entry-level contractor opportunity.
- Handwritten content should primarily be in the selected eligible language,



although a small amount of another language—up to approximately 20%—is acceptable when naturally present.

iPad: iPad mini (5th and 6th generation); iPad Air (3rd through 6th generation); iPad (8th, 9th, 10th generation and iPad A16); iPad Pro 11-inch (1st through 5th generation); iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd through 7th generation).
