To train, guide, and mentor students in the Housekeeping trade, ensuring that they acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills related to cleaning, maintenance, hygiene, and customer service standards as per hospitality industry requirements. The trainer will prepare trainees for employment in hotels, hospitals, corporate offices, and other service sectors.

Roles & Responsibilities

- 1. Conduct effective classroom and practical training sessions as per the prescribed curriculum and lesson plan (ACLP).

- 1. Teach topics such as: Cleaning procedures and equipment handling, Waste segregation and disposal methods, Room and public area cleaning, Laundry and linen management, Pest control, safety, and hygiene practices, Guest handling and communication etiquette

- 1. Ensure training sessions are participatory, interactive, and skill-oriented.

- 1. Demonstrate proper use of cleaning materials, tools, and chemicals in compliance with safety norms.

1. Curriculum Implementation & Center Coordination:

Follow the organizational framework, policies, and guidelines related to the skill training program. Ensure completion of training modules as per the training calendar.

Prepare training aids, PowerPoints, and handouts to enhance learning.

Identify weak trainees and conduct remedial sessions for their improvement.

Coordinate with the Center Coordinator for infrastructure readiness, materials, and equipment.

1. Assessment & Evaluation

Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to measure trainee progress. Maintain records of attendance, performance, and assessments.

Ensure timely submission of progress reports and certification data.





Support trainees in preparing for external assessments conducted by the Sector Skill Council (SSC).

1. Industry & Placement Readiness

Train students in soft skills, grooming, workplace behavior, and professional ethics. Organize mock interviews, role-plays, and guest lectures from industry professionals.

Guide trainees in creating resumes and preparing for job interviews.

Support placement activities in coordination with the placement officer.

1. Center & Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain discipline, punctuality, and decorum in class. Ensure that attendance, assessments, and documentation are updated regularly.

Participate in trainer meetings, audits, and feedback sessions.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the housekeeping lab and training area.

Required Skills and Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Hotel Management / Hospitality).
- Diploma / Certificate in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management from a recognized institute preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in housekeeping (Hotels / Hospitals / Facilities Management).
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching/training experience in a similar domain preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques.
- Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety standards.
- Ability to demonstrate practical housekeeping procedures effectively.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
