Ground Support Equipment TECHNICIAN (GSE equipment maintenance Technician)

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

GSE Technician are responsible for overseeing all the ground support equipment maintenance programs and assisting the company to meet goals through the provision of services offered by SSEC. The GSE Technician will maintain, repair, and perform maintenance (preventive and on-demand) on aircraft ground support equipment bind by contracts and agreements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
- Perform operational checks, services, handles and repairs ground support equipment.
- Operates and performs operational checks on ground support equipment.
- Performs Daily and Preventive Maintenance inspections on ground support equipment.
- Checks out and turns in ground support equipment as required.




- Conducting inspections and maintenance on ground support equipment, including baggage loaders, tow tractors, ASU, ACU, GPU, Towbar, pushback and forklifts.
- Complies with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and company policies.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair airport ground support equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
- Order replacement parts and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace.
