CartScaler is looking for a Growth & Outbound Intern to join us from our Gurgaon office and work closely with the founding team.
This is not a typical sales or marketing internship.
Your job will be to help us figure out:
How do we consistently generate qualified ecommerce leads through outbound?
You’ll spend your day doing things like:
→ Finding interesting D2C & ecommerce brands
→ Researching their websites, tech stack and potential opportunities
→ Finding the right founders / ecommerce / technology decision-makers
→ Reaching out through LinkedIn, email and other channels
→ Experimenting with different messaging and approaches
→ Following up and starting conversations
→ Tracking what works and what doesn't
→ Turning successful experiments into a repeatable outbound process
We don't want someone whose goal is simply to send 500 messages a day.
We want someone who can say:
“I tested 3 different approaches, this one worked better, here’s why — and here’s how we can scale it.”
You’ll work directly with the founding team, so there will be a lot of experimentation, quick feedback and ownership.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who is
- Curious and proactive
- Comfortable reaching out to strangers
- Good at written communication
- Interested in startups, sales, growth or ecommerce
- Comfortable with rejection
- Data-driven and willing to experiment
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
Prior sales experience is not required.
What matters more is your curiosity, initiative and ability to learn quickly.

B2B sales, outbound, lead generation, prospect research, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, ecommerce, CRO, sales funnels, growth experiments and how to build a repeatable customer acquisition process.
