About the Role

Submarine Pens Ltd. is looking for a Graphic Designer to shape how our brands look, feel, and tell their story, across packaging and communication design. We're less focused on years of experience and more on whether your work has a distinct point of view: strong storytelling instincts, a good eye for aesthetics, and the range to move between different brand personalities without losing craft.

You'll be working across a portfolio of brands with different visual identities, so versatility matters as much as individual style.

Key Responsibilities

- Design packaging for a range of product lines - from concept through print-ready files, with an understanding of materials, finishes, and production constraints.
- Design communication assets: social media creatives, brand decks, website visuals, retail collateral, and campaign material
- Translate brand positioning and tone into visual language — you'll be handed a brand's story and personality, and need to design something that actually feels like it
- Maintain visual consistency and brand guideline compliance across multiple sub-brands with distinct identities




- Collaborate with the marketing team on creative direction for launches and campaigns
- Occasionally support building out visual identity systems for new product lines or brand extensions

Requirements

- A strong portfolio that demonstrates storytelling and aesthetic sensibility (this matters more to us than a specific degree or number of years worked)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, at minimum)
- Understanding of print production fundamentals for packaging (dielines, CMYK, finishes, material considerations)
- Ability to work across multiple visual identities without diluting brand distinctiveness
- Valuable instincts for composition, typography, and colour — the kind of eye that's hard to teach.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience designing for premium or luxury brands
- Familiarity with retail packaging specifically
- Basic motion graphics or video editing skills.
- Experience working across a multi-brand portfolio
