About the Role:

The Designer will be responsible for developing seasonal collections and new garment designs based on fashion trends, customer requirements, and market needs. The role involves creating design concepts and presentations, coordinating closely with Product Development (PD) and Merchandising teams, developing designs for international customers, and modifying designs based on buyer feedback and requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Develop seasonal collections and new garment designs based on market and fashion trends
- Conceptualize and develop design themes, concepts, and presentations
- Develop designs aligned with international customer requirements and market trends
- Coordinate with Product Development (PD) and Merchandising teams for design development and execution
- Modify and refine designs based on buyer feedback, comments, and requirements
- Research and stay updated with fashion, garment, fabric, colour, styling, and seasonal trends
- Select and develop appropriate colour, fabric, styling,



and design concepts for collections
- Prepare and present design concepts and collections to internal teams and customers, as required
- Ensure designs are aligned with customer expectations, market requirements, and commercial considerations
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely development and execution of designs

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (relevant field preferred)

Experience:

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Fashion Design
- Experience in developing garment designs for international customers preferred

Required Skills:

- Robust knowledge of garment design, fabrics, colour, styling, and fashion trends
- Strong understanding of fashion trends and seasonal collection development
- Experience in developing designs for international customers
- Ability to develop creative and commercially relevant garment designs
- Strong design conceptualization and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and incorporate buyer feedback and requirements
- Good coordination skills with Product Development and Merchandising teams
- Strong creative and visual sense
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple design requirements and deliver within defined timelines
