Company Description Jadavpur University Arts & Literary Society (JUALS) is a university-based collective that celebrates creativity, ideas, and expression. Role Description The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual assets for JUALS events, publications, social media, and promotional materials. Day-to-day tasks include designing posters, banners, digital graphics, and layouts that align with the society’s aesthetic and communication goals. The role involves collaborating with writers, event coordinators, and other creative members to translate concepts into clear and engaging visual designs.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bengal, India,



requiring consistent presence at the campus for meetings, event preparations, and live design support as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, including proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent).
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding, with the ability to develop cohesive visual identities for events and initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Typography and layout principles to create clear, readable, and visually appealing designs.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative, original design work, ideally including event or cultural project examples.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced campus environment.
- Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and willingness to iterate on designs based on team input.
- Relevant academic background in design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
