We’re Hiring: Graphic Designer cum Video Editor

CodeMark Media is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer cum Video Editor who can create strong visual designs, edit engaging videos, and support our social media content across multiple client projects.

Location: Chennai

Job Type: Full-time | On-site

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

- Create social media posters, carousels, banners, thumbnails, ad creatives and campaign visuals
- Design content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other digital platforms
- Create website graphics, blog featured images and promotional materials
- Develop visual concepts based on client briefs and marketing requirements
- Maintain consistency in brand colors, fonts, layouts and overall visual identity
- Resize and adapt creatives for different social media and advertising formats
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to convert ideas into attractive visual content

Video Editing

- Edit Instagram Reels, promotional videos, short-form content and social media videos
- Add transitions, subtitles, text animations, sound effects, background music and motion graphics
- Edit raw footage into clean and engaging final videos
- Create strong hooks and maintain good pacing for short-form content
- Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup and video enhancement
- Resize and export videos in the correct formats for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Organize raw footage, project files and completed video assets properly

Social Media Content Support

- Work with the social media team to develop creative ideas for reels, posts and campaigns
- Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles and visual formats
- Suggest creative concepts that can improve engagement and content quality
- Support content shoots when required




- Help plan visual execution for client campaigns and internal CodeMark Media content

Tools & Software

Candidates should be comfortable working with some of the following:

Design Tools

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva
- Figma

Video Editing Tools

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- CapCut
- DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software

Knowledge of additional AI design, image generation or video editing tools will be an added advantage.

What We’re Looking For

- Valuable understanding of graphic design principles, typography, composition and visual hierarchy
- Strong video editing sense with attention to pacing and storytelling
- Ability to understand a creative brief and execute it independently
- Good eye for social media trends and modern visual styles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new tools, styles and creative formats
- Ability to take feedback and improve work accordingly
- Basic understanding of branding and digital marketing is preferred

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in graphic design and video editing is preferred
- Agency experience will be an added advantage
- A strong portfolio of designs and edited videos is highly preferred
