Role Description The Graphic Design Prepress Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Greater Noida. This role is responsible for preparing and optimizing artwork files for flexible packaging, ensuring they meet printing and production specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing client designs, performing preflight checks, setting up files for pre-press, and coordinating with the print production team to ensure color accuracy, correct layouts, and proper file formats.
The specialist will collaborate with designers, sales, and production staff to resolve artwork issues, manage revisions,
and maintain consistent branding across projects. The role also involves checking proofs, verifying dielines, and ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards before final printing.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Print Production and Printing, with an understanding of press processes for flexible packaging.
- Candidates should possess solid Preflight and Pre-press skills, including file preparation, color management, and troubleshooting artwork issues.
- Candidates should possess Packaging Design skills, including working with dielines, layouts, and graphics tailored for laminated pouches.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prepress software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, InDesign, PDF preflight tools) is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in packaging or print manufacturing environments and familiarity with flexible packaging materials and printing methods (e.g., rotogravure, flexo) is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret technical specifications, and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration are important.
- A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, or a related field is preferred.
