We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Golang Developer Intern to join our engineering team and contribute to building reliable and scalable backend systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a Golang Developer Intern with hands-on experience in backend development through prior internships, freelance work, or substantial personal projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Go (Golang), REST APIs, backend architecture, databases, and server-side development. This role is suited for candidates looking to strengthen their backend engineering skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Golang.
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance server-side applications.
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and the engineering team to deliver product features.
- Follow Git,



code review, testing, documentation, and software development best practices.

Requirements
- Mandatory: 1–2 prior internships or equivalent hands-on experience in Backend Development.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
- Good understanding of Goroutines, Channels, Interfaces, Structs, Error Handling, and Go Modules.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Positive understanding of SQL, database design, queries, and indexing.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, JWT, and API security.
- Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or message queues.
- Strong GitHub projects or open-source contributions.
