Global Consultant Collaborator – Project-Based Contract

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Global Consultant Collaborators interested in working with EGBS on a project-by-project basis.

This is not a traditional full-time employment position . Consultants will participate as independent contractors and may be engaged for specific assignments based on their expertise, geographic presence, industry knowledge, availability, and the requirements of individual EGBS clients.

Assignments may range from short diagnostic or advisory projects to multi-month transformation and implementation engagements.

We are particularly interested in professionals who combine strong subject-matter expertise with the ability to work directly with executives, managers, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities





Depending on the engagement, responsibilities may include:
- Participate in client discovery, diagnostic, and assessment activities.
- Analyze business processes, organizational structures, operating models, and performance data.
- Identify operational, financial, organizational, or strategic improvement opportunities.
- Develop practical recommendations supported by analysis and industry experience.
- Design and help implement improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate executive, management, and employee workshops.
- Interview client stakeholders and document findings.
- Develop project plans, implementation roadmaps, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Support organizational and operational transformation programs.
- Provide specialized technical or functional expertise.
- Collaborate with EGBS consultants and other subject-matter experts across countries and disciplines.
- Prepare professional client-facing presentations, reports, and recommendations.
- Support business development activities when specialized expertise is required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding EGBS and client information.
- Represent EGBS professionally and consistently during client engagements.

Ideal Background We are interested in established professionals who bring substantial practical business experience.

Strong candidates will typically have:

- 10+ years of relevant professional or consulting experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in a specific functional, technical, or industry discipline.
- Experience working directly with senior executives and business leaders.
- A record of delivering measurable operational or business improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management and execution capabilities.
- High professional standards, discretion, and integrity.
- Ability to translate complex issues into practical recommendations and executable actions.

Previous consulting experience is preferred but is not mandatory for candidates with significant executive, operational, technical, or functional leadership experience.

International Experience

Because EGBS operates with a global perspective, we are particularly interested in professionals with experience working across multiple countries, cultures, industries, or international supply chains.

Fluency in languages in addition to English is highly valued.

Consultants located in the United States, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Canada, and other international markets are encouraged to apply.

Engagement Model

Consultants accepted into the EGBS collaborator network may be considered for assignments as client needs arise.

Each engagement will normally be governed by a separate Statement of Work defining:

- Project scope
- Responsibilities and deliverables
- Project duration




- Expected availability
- Client interaction requirements
- Travel requirements, when applicable
- Professional fees
- Expenses and reimbursement arrangements
- Confidentiality and intellectual-property requirements

There is no guarantee of a minimum number of projects or hours. Collaborators remain independent professionals and are engaged according to the requirements of each individual project.
