TailorFlow AI is a Cambridge-based enterprise AI services company that designs and delivers bespoke solutions for complex business problems. We help enterprises and ambitious mid-market organisations identify valuable AI opportunities and implement systems that work in real business environments.

Our customers are based across the UK, South Africa, the Americas and Australia. Most work happens asynchronously, offering flexibility in how team members structure their day. Depending on the project, you should be comfortable maintaining three to four hours of overlap with the relevant customer geography.

We are a small, growing team primarily based in Cambridge, with newer team members working remotely from India. As our international customer base grows, we are adding more remote team members in India.

About the role

We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer to build production-oriented solutions using large language models and modern AI tooling.

You will work on diverse client problems involving documents, enterprise knowledge, reasoning, workflow automation and intelligent agents.

What you will do

· Design and build LLM applications, RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.

· Develop prompts, tools,



evaluations and guardrails for reliable outputs.

· Integrate AI services with databases, APIs and enterprise systems.

· Prototype quickly and harden successful approaches for production.

· Evaluate quality, latency, cost, security and failure modes.

· Translate client requirements into practical working solutions.

What we are looking for

· One to four years of software or AI engineering experience.

· Strong Python development skills.

· Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and generative AI frameworks.

· Understanding of retrieval, embeddings, evaluation and prompt design.

· Ability to write maintainable code and debug unfamiliar problems.

· Ownership and comfort working in a fast-moving remote team.

It would be helpful if you have

· Experience with cloud services, vector databases or agent frameworks.

· Exposure to document AI, OCR or unstructured data.

· Experience deploying secure enterprise applications.
