Role & responsibilities To lead and execute day-to-day banking operations across group companies, ensure timely execution of banking transactions, monitor sanctioned facilities and utilisation, and ensure compliance with bank/RBI requirements, sanction terms and internal banking policies.

Preferred candidate profile

A. Banking Operations

- Lead banking operations of current accounts, CC/OD, WCDL, term loans and other banking facilities.
- Coordinate with banks for fund transfers, payments, account opening/closure and banking documentation.
- Oversee daily bank balances and ensure optimum utilisation of available funds.
- Coordinate with branches/credit teams for routine banking requirements and operational issues.
- Ensure timely submission of bank statements, stock statements, debtor statements and other periodic information.

B. LC / BG Operations

- Oversee and provide guidance to the team to manage end-to-end LC opening, amendment, retirement, devolvement and closure.
- Coordinate issuance, amendment, extension and invocation/release of Bank Guarantees.

C. Banking Compliance

- Maintain a banking compliance tracker for all group companies.
- Ensure compliance with sanction conditions, covenants and documentation requirements.
- Track submission of stock statements, CMA data, financial statements, insurance policies, valuation reports, certificates and other bank requirements.
- Monitor renewal dates of CC/LC/BG limits, insurance, LEI, KYC and other banking compliances.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable RBI/banking guidelines.
- Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors and banks for banking-related queries.

D. Credit & Facility Monitoring

- Maintain an updated database of sanctioned limits, outstanding, available limits, margins and pricing.
- Monitor utilisation of CC, LC, BG, WCDL and term-loan facilities.




- Track interest rates, bank charges, processing fees and other banking costs.
- Verify interest debits and bank charges and identify discrepancies for recovery/reversal.
- Monitor compliance with DSCR, security cover, financial covenants and other sanction conditions, wherever applicable.

E. Documentation & Security

- Maintain records of sanction letters, loan agreements, hypothecation/mortgage documents, MOE, guarantees, undertakings and other security documents.
- Coordinate with legal teams, trustees and banks for creation/perfection/release of securities.
- Track pending documentation and ensure closure within stipulated timelines.
- Maintain a central repository of banking documents for all group entities.

F. MIS & Reporting

- Ensure preparation of daily/weekly banking MIS covering:
- Bank-wise limits and utilisation

- LC/BG outstanding
- Fund-based/non-fund-based exposure
- Interest rates and finance cost

- Upcoming maturities

- Compliance status

- Pending bank documentation
- Prepare management reports highlighting excess utilisation, upcoming obligations and potential banking issues.
- Provide timely information for CMA, credit reviews, rating agencies and lender meetings.

G. Bank Relationship Management

- Coordinate with Branch, Credit, Regional Office and HO teams of banks.
- Follow up for sanctions, amendments, limit enhancements, pricing revisions and release of securities.
- Maintain qualified relationships with banking officials and ensure timely resolution of operational matters.
- Support Chairman in negotiations relating to interest rates, bank charges, limits and other banking terms.
