Role Description The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of restorative and preventive procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, cleanings, and other common dental treatments, while educating patients on oral hygiene and long-term care. The role involves working closely with dental assistants and administrative staff to maintain accurate records, ensure adherence to clinical protocols, and support efficient patient scheduling and flow.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune Division, requiring consistent presence during clinic hours and active participation in team meetings, case discussions,



and quality-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Valid dental degree (BDS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and current license/registration to practice dentistry as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general dental procedures, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative work, extractions, endodontics, and preventive care.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to infection control, safety, and ethical practice standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment options, build trust with patients, and collaborate with dental and administrative staff.
- Ability to manage a steady patient flow, prioritize cases, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, stay current with advances in dentistry, and adopt new techniques or technologies as appropriate.
- Experience in an on-site clinical setting, preferably in a high-volume or community-focused dental practice, is an advantage.
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations and commitment to providing equitable, respectful care to all individuals.
