Company Description IQ and Reasoning Academy is a team of specialist tutors based in India. Our journey began in 2020 when we prepared our very first student for the 7+ entrance exam, helping him secure admission to St Paul’s School, one of London’s most prestigious schools.

Since then, we have grown through word of mouth and parent referrals, expanding our expertise across 7+, 11+ and 13+ entrance preparation. Our kids have secured places in top schools in London. We have also extended our tutoring services to include Y7–GCSE programmes in Math, English and Combined Science, taught by subject experts in small groups to ensure high-quality teaching, personalised attention, and strong academic progress.

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a GCSE Math Teacher at IQ and Reasoning Academy. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging online Mathematics lessons for Y7 till GCSE, ensuring that students build strong conceptual understanding and exam-ready skills. The teacher must have the experience of teaching GCSE students across relevant boards such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR and others.





The teacher must have a clear plan of covering the syllabus and revision supported by teaching resources and homework worksheets for every topic.

Day-to-day responsibilities include creating lesson plans, aligning teaching materials with the GCSE curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will adapt instructional methods to support diverse learning needs, maintain accurate records of performance, and collaborate with the academy team to continuously improve teaching resources and strategies.

Must-haves:

- Robust subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
- Curriculum Awareness, teaching resources and homework material (non AI worksheets) tailored to Year 7 till GCSE standards.
- Availability of slots from 5pm UK to 8pm UK on weekdays and morning/afternoon UK slots on weekends.
- Ability to deliver interactive, student-centered lessons in an online environment.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills suitable for remote instruction.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms; comfort with technology-enhanced learning.

Pay:

Rs 1500 for one hour of teaching 1-6 kids.
