Factory Gateman –

Position: Gateman / Security Gatekeeper

Department: Security / Administration

Reporting To: Factory Supervisor / Admin Manager

Working Hours: 12-hour shift

Location - Koom Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab

Job Summary

Responsible for controlling and monitoring entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials at the factory gate while maintaining proper security and records.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control all entry and exit through the factory gate.
- Verify employees, visitors, contractors, drivers, and vehicles.
- Maintain visitor, vehicle, and material movement registers.
- Check incoming and outgoing vehicles and required documentation.
- Monitor the movement of raw materials, finished goods, scrap, and other materials.
- Prevent unauthorized persons or vehicles from entering the factory premises.
- Report any suspicious activity, security concern, accident, or unusual incident to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure gates remain properly secured during the entire shift.




- Maintain discipline at the factory entrance.
- Follow all factory security and safety procedures.
- Assist during emergencies, fire incidents, or other unusual situations.
- Properly hand over all registers, keys, information, and pending matters to the next shift.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a factory gateman/security guard preferred.
- Basic reading and writing ability.
- Physically fit and alert.
- Honest, punctual, and responsible.
- Able to maintain basic registers and records.
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts.
- Willing to work day or night shifts as required.

Working Conditions
- 12-hour duty per shift.
- Industrial/factory setting.
- Standing and walking duty for extended periods.
- Uniform and safety rules must be followed.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
