Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Garnet Plant Engineers located in Visakhapatnam. The role involves overseeing daily plant operations for garnet processing, ensuring equipment performance, and coordinating production activities to meet volume, quality, and safety targets.

Responsibilities include monitoring plant systems, managing plant maintenance schedules, performing technical troubleshooting, and supporting power generation and related utilities required for continuous operations.

Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The role also requires preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting smooth interaction with logistics and quality control teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Plant Engineering and Plant Operations, with experience in mineral processing or similar industrial environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Plant Maintenance and Troubleshooting to diagnose issues, perform corrective actions, and support reliability-centered maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Generation and associated utility systems used in continuous plant operations.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Understanding of safety standards, environmental compliance, and quality control processes in industrial plants.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and process flow diagrams, and use standard engineering and maintenance software tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Prior experience in garnet or mineral processing plants is an advantage.
