Full Description

Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Game Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of interactive games by implementing gameplay mechanics, developing game systems, integrating assets, and ensuring smooth player experiences.

You will collaborate with designers, artists, developers, and product teams to transform game concepts and requirements into functional and engaging experiences. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with game engines, programming, 2D/3D development, game physics, optimization, and modern development tools while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing gameplay mechanics and features
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable game code
- Working with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms
- Implementing player controls, interactions, animations, and game systems
- Integrating 2D and 3D assets into game environments
- Working with game physics, collision detection, and object interactions
- Debugging and resolving gameplay and technical issues
- Optimizing games for performance, memory usage, and responsiveness
- Implementing UI elements, menus, scoring systems, and game progression
- Integrating audio, visual effects, and other game components
- Testing gameplay features and identifying bugs
- Collaborating with designers and artists to deliver game features
- Using Git or other version control systems for development
- Documenting game systems, technical implementations,



and development processes
- Supporting game builds, releases, and post-release improvements
- Staying updated with emerging game development technologies and trends

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in game development or a relevant internship/project
- Strong programming fundamentals
- Familiarity with C#, C++, or another game development language
- Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, or a similar game engine
- Basic understanding of game development concepts and gameplay mechanics
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Basic knowledge of game physics, collision detection, and animation concepts
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Basic understanding of 2D or 3D game development
- Experience with personal or academic game projects is a plus
- Knowledge of multiplayer, networking, or mobile game development is beneficial
- Familiarity with Blender or other 3D tools is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
