Job Purpose

As the FGL for Vehicle Dynamics within Chassis Systems, lead the development and optimization of vehicle energetic performance for NPD - Commercial Mobility Business products covering 3W and 4W vehicles. Own the ride, handling, stability, steering response, braking integration and overall chassis dynamic targets, ensuring alignment with customer usage, safety, durability, weight, cost and regulatory requirements.

Work cross-functionally with design, simulation, testing, vehicle integration, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, service and supplier teams to deliver robust, validated and platform-reusable solutions.

Drive current-product problem solving, new-product delivery and future technology readiness for Vehicle Dynamics within 3W and 4W Chassis Systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the definition, deployment and achievement of vehicle dynamics targets across 3W and 4W product lines, covering ride comfort, handling, steering feel, braking feel, stability, controllability and chassis integration.
- Translate customer, market, regulatory and program requirements into measurable chassis and vehicle-level dynamic performance targets.
- Lead vehicle dynamics architecture decisions and technicalsign-offs in coordination with Frames, Suspension, Steering, Brakes, WheelsTyres, Vehicle Integration, CAE, Testing and Controls teams.
- Define technical requirements and ensure designs meet QCDexpectations including performance, durability, safety, weight, manufacturability and cost targets.
- Review simulation methods, virtual validation outputs andphysical test results for ride handling, stability, braking integration, steering response, KC, durability and vehicle-level correlation.
- Establish and maintain test procedures, design guidelines,SOPs,

DVPs and DFMEA inputs related to Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis Systemintegration.
- Lead objective data analysis and correlation withsubjective evaluation feedback to enable faster convergence of vehicleperformance maturity.
- Drive problem-solving initiatives for current products, field concerns and development issues related to ride, handling, stability, braking response and chassis behavior.
- Lead value engineering and standardization initiativesacross platforms, minimizing variety while ensuring appropriate productdifferentiation for 3W and 4W applications.
- Manage multiple development programs, prioritizedeliverables and drive timely technical decisions in alignment with programmilestones.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, homologation andinternal engineering standards for vehicle dynamic performance.
- Mentor and develop engineers in vehicle dynamics, structured validation, data analytics, cross-functional issue resolution andcareer development.
- Manage external interactions with suppliers, test agenciesand technology partners for vehicle dynamics components, instrumentation, validation and benchmarking support.
