Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Functional Consultant with combined SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Customer Activity Repository (CAR) experience to support the SAP S/4HANA store rollout for the MAF Retail operating company. Working offshore under the O2C Lead, the consultant will configure and test sales and POS data flows for each store wave, covering order management and billing in S/4HANA together with POS inbound processing, transaction aggregation and reporting in CAR.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of SAP SD/O2C configuration experience with hands-on SAP CAR and POS DM exposure, and must have worked on at least one complete greenfield SAP S/4HANA retail implementation.

Role Details Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Configuration and Solution Support:

- Configure SAP SD settings for assigned O2C scenarios, and configure POS inbound processing, task and rule sets within SAP CAR, following the approved design.
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications for RICEFW objects across O2C and CAR, and support developers through build and unit testing.
- Support process design for order management, pricing and promotions, returns and refunds, billing, and the aggregation and posting of POS sales.

POS Data Flow and Testing:

- Support the end-to-end POS data flow from store point-of-sale systems into SAP CAR (POS DM) and onward to S/4HANA sales, inventory and financial postings.
- Monitor POS inbound processing, investigate failed or suspended transactions, and correct data through the CAR workbench.
- Prepare and execute unit, string and integration test scripts covering O2C and CAR flows,



and support SIT and UAT cycles through to defect closure.

Master Data and Cutover Support:

- Support definition and validation of O2C master data, including customer master, pricing conditions, promotions and article sales views.
- Validate CAR store and article master alignment with S/4HANA and reconcile sales values ahead of each store cutover.
- Support store onboarding into CAR, including store profiles, transaction mapping and connectivity checks with POS providers.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:

- Maintain configuration documentation, test evidence and process documentation to project standards.
- Escalate risks and issues promptly to the O2C Lead, such as POS interface failures, design gaps or open defects.
- Prepare training and support material for store and commercial users, and support hypercare after each go-live.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with the onsite O2C Lead, finance and integration streams, developers and POS vendors across offshore and onshore locations.
- Participate in design and validation sessions with business users, ensuring availability during UAE business hours as required.

Experience:





- 5 to 8 years of experience as an SAP SD/O2C functional consultant with hands-on SAP CAR and POS DM configuration.
- Mandatory: at least one complete greenfield SAP S/4HANA retail implementation delivered end to end, from design through go-live, with exposure to POS sales upload, aggregation and store-level sales reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of O2C processes: order management, delivery, billing, returns, credit management and accounts receivable integration.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT and hypercare on a multi-site rollout.

Technical Skills:

- Hands-on SAP CAR configuration: POS inbound processing, task and rule sets, transaction log, and error handling in the POS workbench.
- Hands-on SAP SD configuration: pricing and condition techniques, output determination, billing and revenue account determination.
- Ability to write clear functional specifications and test scripts.
- Familiarity with IS-Retail, Fiori sales apps and S/4HANA retail innovations.

Soft Skills:

- Explicit written and spoken English for working with onshore stakeholders remotely.
- Analytical mindset and structured approach to investigating POS and sales data discrepancies.
- Willingness to work offshore with overlap to UAE business hours and extended hours during cutover and go-live.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP S/4HANA Sales or SAP Customer Activity Repository Certification.
- Experience with multi-location, multi-country retail SAP rollouts delivered from an offshore location.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies and tools such as Jira or Solution Manager.
