Role Overview

Embedded within the Product Engineering organization, you will design, build, and evolve enterprise-scale cloud-native software solutions by applying engineering-first principles rather than relying on any single language, framework, or technology. You will work closely with

Product Owners, Architects, UX Designers, DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable applications.

This role is intended for engineers who have demonstrated true end-to-end engineering ownership—from requirement analysis and architecture through development, testing,

deployment, production support, and continuous improvement. Beyond writing high-quality code, you will influence engineering standards, mentor engineers, improve developer productivity through responsible AI-assisted engineering, and drive technical excellence across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a product engineer who can independently solve complex engineering problems, participate in architecture decisions, and consistently deliver measurable business outcomes rather than simply executing assigned development tasks.

1. End-to-End Product Engineering

• Own software features from requirement gathering through architecture, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver production-ready software with accountability for quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Drive engineering solutions that balance business priorities with long-term architectural sustainability.

1. Architecture & Technical Design

• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Design modular, scalable, maintainable, and cloud-native software solutions.
- Apply asynchronous programming techniques to build resilient distributed systems.
- Ensure solutions adhere to up-to-date secure engineering practices.

1. Full Stack Software Development

Develop high-quality software using:
- Node.js
- TypeScript
- JavaScript
- Angular
- React
- REST APIs
- Micro Frontends
- SQL & NoSQL Databases

Build reusable, maintainable, and well-tested software using engineering best practices and responsible AI-assisted development.
1. Software Quality & Testing

• Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Build and maintain high unit test coverage.
- Improve automated API and UI test coverage.
- Ensure every code change is validated through automated quality gates.
- Enable seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.

1. Production Engineering & Operational Excellence

• Support UAT and Production deployments.
- Own production issue resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Improve application observability through monitoring dashboards and alerting.




- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and system uptime.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure successful production releases.

1. Technical Leadership & Mentoring

• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
- Establish engineering standards and coding best practices.
- Lead technical discussions and influence engineering decisions.
- Promote engineering excellence and continuous learning across teams.

1. Technical Debt & Continuous Improvement

• Identify, prioritize, and reduce technical debt.
- Keep dependencies secure and up to date.
- Improve maintainability through modular design and refactoring.
- Drive engineering productivity through automation and AI-assisted development practices.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with:
- Product Owners
- Solution Architects

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience

- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience in product engineering environments.
- Proven ownership of complete software features from architecture through production support.
- Strong experience building cloud-native, enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience collaborating across Agile product engineering teams.
