Project Overview:

Join the team collaborating to re-engineer, establish, develop, and improve Google’s systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architecture & Infrastructure: Construct pluggable API microservices for the frontend, and scale services to handle thousands of users with minimal latency by deploying onto cloud-based networks.
- Fullstack Development: Design and implement both front-end and back-end applications, writing reusable components for Web clients and backend systems. Implement business logic using Kotlin, Java, and the Guice framework, while building the user interface using JavaScript and AngularJS.
- Experience working on Google tech stack including Boq, Boq Web, Guice, Apps Framework, Blaze etc
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and execute code based on requirements, and utilize Karma, JUnit, and integration tests to ensure the code is bug-free and aligned with requirements.
- System Maintenance & Debugging: Track down and resolve existing code and performance issues logged in Buganizer, and immediately address any production issues in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Data & Security: Handle multi-dimensional data models and constraints, delivering high-performance, scalable real-time data synchronization systems.



Exercise permission control over sensitive information using Access Control Lists (ACLs) and secure authorization standards like OAuth.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Program Management, Developments, and TechOps in iteration planning and daily stand-up calls. Additionally, mentor current engineers, guide them through the induction process, and help them get on board with internal infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Electronics/Electrical, Engineering, or a closely-related field.
- Languages & Frameworks: Extensive knowledge of frontend and backend technology stacks, specifically Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
- Build Tools & Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git, Mercurial, and build tools such as Bazel, Ant, GNU Make, and Maven.
- Database Technologies: Comfortability working with Google Guice DI and NoSQL datastores, such as Google Cloud Spanner and Google Cloud SQL.
- Design Patterns: Understanding of design patterns like MVC, dependency injection, facade, adapter, and business delegate.
